The Music Ministry

The Music Ministry at First United Methodist Church in Waverly represents a long, rich history of high quality music. Currently there are nine different singing and ringing groups for pre-schoolers through adults. Contemporary and blended formats are being incorporated into worship regularly. From vocal choir to chimes to the band, there is a musical group for you at Waverly First!

Adults

  • Contemporary Music Group 6:30 – 7:30 pm on Thursdays
  • Sanctuary Choir practices 7:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesdays
  • Celebration Ringers practice 11:00 – 12:00 pm on Sundays

Children

  • Pre-K through 1st grade choir practices during Sunday School at 10:10 am on Sundays
  • 2nd & 3rd grade Chalice Choir practices during Ignite (3:30 – 5:30 pm on Wednesdays)
  • 4th & 5th grade Carol Choir practices during Ignite
  • 4th grade Chime Choir (Merry Ringers A) during Ignite
  • 5th grade Chime Choir (Merry Ringers B) practice during Ignite
